2020 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT

If you've been searching for a 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport SE Sport Utility for sale in Southern California, your search may have just ended. CARTIME II, located in South Gate, CA, has this premium compact SUV on the lot and ready for a test drive. With just over 41,000 miles on the clock, this Discovery Sport sits in the sweet spot of low mileage and exceptional value — giving you the luxury and capability of a Land Rover without the new-car price tag.

About This 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport SE

This 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport SE is a four-door Sport Utility that checks nearly every box for Southern California buyers who want refined style, genuine off-road credibility, and everyday practicality. At 41,586 miles, this vehicle is still well within its prime years — Land Rover's Discovery Sport is built for a long ownership life, and a vehicle at this mileage level has barely been broken in by compact luxury SUV standards.

The SE trim strikes a compelling balance between attainability and genuine luxury. You get the prestige of the Land Rover badge, the all-weather confidence of full-time AWD, and a feature set that goes well beyond the base configuration — all at a used-vehicle price point. For Los Angeles County buyers who want something that stands out in traffic on the 710 or the 105, the Discovery Sport delivers unmistakable presence.

2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport Performance and Engine

Under the hood, this Discovery Sport is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission and Land Rover's capable all-wheel-drive system. This engine configuration produces responsive power delivery that translates well in real-world driving — whether you're navigating stop-and-go traffic on the I-5 through South Gate, merging onto the 710, or heading out toward the Angeles National Forest for a weekend trail run.

The 9-speed automatic is one of the more refined transmissions in this class, offering seamless gear changes under light throttle and confident downshifts when you need to accelerate quickly. Land Rover's Terrain Response system — included on Discovery Sport models — means this AWD setup is far more sophisticated than a simple all-wheel-drive traction aid. It actively adapts to road conditions, giving you confidence on wet California highways or unpaved mountain roads alike.

Land Rover Discovery Sport Features and Interior

The SE trim on the 2020 Discovery Sport brings a well-appointed cabin that reflects the Land Rover commitment to premium interiors. Buyers can expect features including a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a suite of driver assistance technologies including lane keep assist, emergency braking, and a rearview camera.

Inside, the Discovery Sport offers flexible seating and a thoughtfully designed cabin that feels genuinely upscale without being over-the-top. The elevated seating position gives that commanding view of traffic that SUV buyers love, while the interior materials and finish quality reflect Land Rover's heritage as a premium British marque. There's also meaningful cargo space and versatile rear seating configurations that make this SUV genuinely livable day-to-day.

Land Rover Discovery Sport Reliability and Ownership

Land Rover's reputation has evolved meaningfully in recent years, and the 2020 Discovery Sport represents one of the brand's more reliable modern generations. Built on the Jaguar Land Rover EV2 architecture and powered by the Ingenium engine family, this generation addressed many of the reliability concerns associated with earlier Discovery Sport models.

Owners of the 2020 model year frequently cite the comfortable ride quality, strong all-wheel-drive performance, and premium feel as consistent highlights. At 41,586 miles, this example is well past its initial break-in and any early component wear period — a range that many enthusiasts consider ideal for a used luxury SUV purchase. Routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations will keep this Discovery Sport performing well for years to come. As with any Land Rover, using a qualified technician familiar with JLR vehicles for service is recommended.
