2020 INFINITI QX60 Performance and Engine

V6 Power with Smooth CVT Delivery

Under the hood sits INFINITI's proven 3.5-liter V6 engine, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with manual mode. This powertrain combination produces around 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, giving the QX60 confident highway merging ability, smooth acceleration from a stop, and composed cruising on the freeway. The CVT with manual mode gives drivers the option to take more control of gear selection when they want a more engaged driving feel — useful in canyon roads or hillier terrain around the greater Los Angeles area. Front-wheel drive keeps things simple and provides solid traction in the light rain and varied road conditions typical across Southern California.

INFINITI QX60 Reliability and Ownership

What Owners and Experts Say

The QX60 has built a strong reputation among owners who prioritize long-term dependability alongside luxury. INFINITI's 3.5-liter V6 is a well-proven engine with a long track record in both INFINITI and Nissan platforms, and it's widely regarded as one of the more durable V6 options in the mid-size luxury SUV segment. Many QX60 owners report well over 150,000 miles with consistent oil changes and basic upkeep. The CVT transmission, when properly maintained, has proven reliable in real-world use. Common-sense maintenance — fluid flushes, filter changes, and brake service — keeps these vehicles running strong. Buyers should verify service history and have any used QX60 inspected, which CARTIME's team is happy to accommodate.
